WEKA AG, the Swiss manufacturer of level measuring instruments based on the magnetic-float principle and valves and components for the highly specialised cryogenic industries, has joined the ARCA Group, starting from August 2001. ARCA Regler GmbH, the parent company of the ARCA Group, has its headquarters in D-47918 Tönisvorst, Germany, with world-wide manufacturing and marketing operations. The Group’s product range includes process valves and pumps for a wide variety of industrial applications, which are well known for their quality, functionality, and up-to-date technology. WEKA AG, now an autonomous unit within the ARCA Group, will continue to operate from its present location as a separate company subject to Swiss jurisdiction. WEKA AG and another subsidiary of the ARCA Group, von Rohr Armaturen AG together will constitute the group’s presence in Switzerland. The synergy of resources of the group companies is expected to strengthen its position in the markets for valves and components for cryogenic temperature applications, which until now were being served by WEKA AG.
