Williams Valves supply contract

Williams Valves has announced a contract with Black & Veatch supplying valves for CNRL’s Horizon Oil Sands Project SAGD Co-Generation plant in Alberta, Canada. The contract, valued at USD 1.4 million, includes gates, globes and check valves; both pressure seal and bolted bonnets ranging from 2 to 48in sizes. The first phase of the Horizon Oil Sands Project is scheduled to open in the 3rd quarter of 2008. Phase 1 will produce an estimated 110,000 barrels of Bitumen (sour crude) per day.
