Wood secures multimillion dollar contract in Wyoming

Wood has secured a new multi-million dollar contract with Evolution Midstream to provide civil and mechanical construction services for the Jewell gas plant in the South Powder River Basin of central Wyoming.

The Jewell gas plant is the first gas plant to be built in Wyoming in five years and signals improved growth and development in the region. Currently, the Wyoming oil and gas sector is showing steady growth, with six additional gas plants already penned for a permit.

Prior to this agreement, Wood completed smaller projects for Evolution Midstream, including the front-end engineering and design and surveys for the plant and associated pipeline.
