Worcester Controls/McCanna certification

Worcester Controls/McCanna, a member of Invensys Flow Control, has received Certification of Conformity for its Industrial Ball Valves. Meeting this legal requirement will allow Worcester Controls/ McCanna valves to be “CE” marked for use by companies in the European Union. This certification, awarded on behalf of the British Standards Institution (BSI), was achieved on the basis of their examination under the requirements of Council Directive 97/23/EC Module H of the Pressure Equipment Directive, as transposed into UK law by the Pressure Equipment Regulations SI 1999 No.2001. The scope of the certificate will cover cast and forged carbon steel, low alloy steel, high alloy steel and non-ferrous ball valves, of sizes from DN32 to DN500, maximum PN 420, for industrial and commercial process application including unstable gases.
