Xomox Sanmar Ltd, a joint venture of Sanmar Engineering Corp. (SEC), a supplier of engineered valves in India and Crane Co., USA, a diversified global manufacturer of engineered industrial products, have inaugurated their power plant valve manufacturing facility in Viralimali (near Trichirapalli), India. Sanmar Engineering Corp. and Crane Co. extended their existing 25 year old joint venture Xomox Sanmar Ltd (investment 51% Sanmar Engineering and 49% Crane Co.) in 2008 to include the manufacture of Crane Energy’s Pacific brand of high pressure gate, globe and check valves. A 30,000sq/ft plant has been commissioned in Viralimalai, near Trichy, Tamil Nadu, India. This plant manufacturers both manual and motorized high pressure gate and globe valves, non-return check valves for India’s power sector and process industries, along with being a part of the global manufacturing network for Crane Energy. Xomox Sanmar Ltd – Pacific Valves Division will offer an extensive range of high pressure, low pressure and forged valves for use in captive power plants and utility power plants.
