PROFOX wins primus award 2021

AUMA’s new PROFOX actuator series is the winner of this year’s Primus Award in the actuators category.
“We are delighted that our PROFOX actuator has found such a positive response,” says Michael Sick, AUMA Head of Sales Germany. “PROFOX sets new standards for compact actuators – they are smart, have an excellent cost-benefit ratio, and they’re ideally suited for modern plant automation. The fact that PROFOX has won the Primus Award shows that our new product is a great match for the needs of the market.”
The Primus Award is given by the German valve industry magazine ‘Industriearmaturen+Dichtungstechnik’ in cooperation with the German valve industry exhibition DIAM. Its three prizes honour the best products in actuators, valves, and seals, respectively.
The actuators offer future-proof valve automation for any type of valve. These new actuators for lower to medium torque ranges are ideally suited for all industry sectors, including water treatment, cogeneration plants, process industries, and shipbuilding. Designed as a modular platform including multi-turn, part-turn, and, soon, linear actuators, PROFOX offers utmost flexibility and uniform operation across all device types.
The actuators are simple and easy to use. Installation and commissioning are fast and convenient, using the free AUMA Assistant App. The FOX-EYE indication light and a position indicator on the housing clearly show the actuator status, even from a distance.
