Nicholson Stream Trap introduces the new Big Block universal mount trap valve station that combines isolation valves, test ports, strainer and blowdown valve in a trap mounting that conforms to the two-bolt universal swivel mount connection pattern. The Big Block is both compact and durable, reducing installation and maintenance costs. Trap replacement is as simple as removing two bolts, leaving the mounting block in-line. Big Block features blow-out proof isolation valves with grease fittings to lubricate and flash contaminants. An all stainless steel construction with adjustable Grafoil packing assures long service life and a leakproof seal at pressures to 1500 psig and temperatures to 950C. Big Block is available with ½” or ¾” NPT or socketweld connections.
