Valves for turbo-generator

The ARCA Regler GmbH (Tönisvorst, Germany) has delivered valves for the biggest back-pressure turbo-generator in the paper and pulp industry world-wide. The turbo-generator will be built from Siemens Power Generation (PG) for a pulp plant in the NW of Finland. After reaching its final capacity of 800,000 tons a year the plant will produce 150 MW.
The biggest part of the electric as well as the complete thermic power are mainly used for the different production processes of the plant. A small part of the electricity will be supplied into the public power supply system. The handing over of the turbo-generator is scheduled for April 2004. The owner of the plant is the third biggest paper and pulp producer in the world situated in Helsinki.
