Zwick has introduced its new Triple offset butterfly valve. Available from Transmark-FXC,
the triple eccentric design geometry is suitable for extreme temperature variations and pressure peaks. This allows it to be used in many different conditions such as for exhaust gases, fluids at cryogenic temperatures, and for superheated steam at temperatures up to 550C. For use under the widest range of service conditions the Tri-Con range is available in pressure classes up to PN64, PN100 and ANSI 600 and in size range from 2”
to 60” in several face to face dimensions. In response to customer demands Zwick has
launched two new Tri-Con valves – one for high pressure oxygen service and a double block and bleed valve. The valve suitable for oxygen service is in accordance with ATEX regulations up to zone 1. The double block and bleed valve consists of two seats and two independent discs, which can be either manually operated or actuated. Depending on the operation the discs can be closed and opened simultaneously or independent to each other.
