Val-Matic’s new Swing-flex and SurgeBuster check valves have a non-clog design with only one moving part providing years of maintenance free service. The valve’s short, 35° stroke provides fast closing to minimize slamming and slam related surges. The valve disc can be replaced through the domed access cover without removal of the valve from the line. The SurgeBuster check valve is unique because it offers the patented Disc Accelerator™, which closes the valve disc rapidly without producing a slam. The Swing-flex and SurgeBuster fully meet ANSI/AWWA C508.
