Conductor Installation Services Ltd (CIS), an Acteon company, has received the prestigious Gold Award for Occupational Health and Safety 2013 from the UK’s Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The company has been awarded once again for the fourth consecutive year for its ability to operate without an accident or incident that resulted in a Lost Time Incident (LTI).
“RoSPA firmly believes that organisations that demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition,” said MrDavid Rawlins, Awards Manager for RoSPA. “Conductor Installation Services Ltd has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of this award,” he added.
In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Mr Andy Penman, Group Managing Director of CIS, was presented the award by Mr John Clayton, RoSPA Trustee at the RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards Ceremony in Birmingham earlier this month.
The RoSPA Awards criteria includes not only accident records, but the entrant’s overall health and safety management systems, recognising important practices such as strong leadership and workforce involvement.
