ARMATURY GROUP ships 719 valves to Algeria

In March and April 2015, ARMATURY Group exported 719 pieces of valves to Algeria, used for transporting natural gas across the country. Supplies were divided into two orders – trunnion mounted ball valves, ball valves with floating ball, butterfly valves and globe valves, all in the range from 2” to 20”, class 150, 300 and 600. More than 350 tons of cargo in 250 crates were first transported by truck to the Antwerp in Belgium and then shipped to the Algerian ports in Algiers and Oran.

Algeria is a well-known export territory for ARMATURY Group. The company started the co-operation with local partners back in the 2011, when the first potential contracts appeared. In 2013, ARMATURY Group had shipped about 170 pcs of trunnion mounted ball valves divided in five orders.

In 2016, valves worth EUR 3.1M will be exported to Algeria and the production of this contract has begun.
