IMI Critical Engineering opens new Qingpu Plant

IMI Critical Engineering Greater China held a grand opening ceremony for their newly-opened Qingpu Plant in Shanghai on 13th July 2016.

All Shanghai employees of IMI Critical Engineering Greater China relocated to Qingpu plant in February, 2016. The plant now is ready for formal operation after 5 months of equipment installation and commissioning. The overall area of new facility is 6,459 m², of which the workshop area covers nearly 5,000 m².

The new plant integrates the manufacturing capability of Shanghai CCI Power Control Equipment Co., Ltd. and Z&J High Temperature Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., focusing on production of control valves, and isolation valves such as globe valves, gate valves and relevant actuators and control units for power, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and other energy industries, especially for critical applications.

The new plant focuses on integrating business management, capability enhancement of local R&D and manufacturing, improving process, service quality, and efficiency.
