Persta starts C$40M Pipeline Project with Jixing Energy

With near three years on pipeline route selection, survey, environmental assessment and public consultations for regulatory compliance done by Persta, and AER’s review as well, Persta has obtained the license for 37km of a pipeline which will connect Persta Voyager area, one of the core areas, and Persta production area Basing. Persta is honored to work together with Jixing Energy (Canada) Ltd. on execution of the 37km pipeline project and associated surface production facilities projects including multi-well batteries and dehydration/compressor stations. The estimated overall investment exceeds C$40M. As of today, approximately 30% of detailed engineering and design of the pipeline project has been completed, and the purchase order of line pipes has been placed. Site construction is planned to commence by mid of June 2019. The pipeline project and associated projects are expected to completion and start-up before the end of 2019.

The pipeline will provide Persta core production area-Voyager the access to NGTL then to Northern Markets, which is important for Persta’s future growth. Upon the completion of the project, not only will the 4 exploration wells drilled in Voyager in 2017-2018 be put into commercial production, but also will Persta have more than 2 billion cubic meters per year (200mmscfd) of regional pipeline transport capacity for the large-scale development in Voyager area, which lays a solid foundation for the company to rapidly increase production and enhance cash flow in this area.

Headquartered in Calgary, Canada, Persta Resources Inc. specializes in the exploration, development, production, and sales of oil and gas.
