AVK Valves expands its Supa Lock™ range. The new angle valves are to be used in connection with top drillings into the main pipe.
Top drillings are used where space does not allow for side drilling, or in cases where the water company has decided to place service valves on top of main pipes in order to have a clear marking of the main pipe position.
The angle valves are with vertical Supa Lock™ spigot end connection to the tapping saddle and horizontal socket end connection, and can be used together with all Supa Lock™ tapping saddles and fittings. However, for under pressure tapping, tapping saddles with blade shut-off are to be used.
Main features of the Supa Lock™ connection includes a corrosion-free joint, and patented self-locking design.
