The BSS Group, a distributor of heating, plumbing and pipeline equipment to the industrial and domestic construction and maintenance markets, has acquired the Pegler & Louden business. Pegler & Louden, headquartered in Nottingham, operates in the niche market of supplying specialist valves to the industrial process sector, including pharmaceutical, food and drink and general chemical industries. Pegler & Louden will operate as a free-standing business within the BSS Industrial Division. The opportunity will be taken to integrate the current BSS Flow Control Solutions (FCS) operation into the Pegler & Louden business at Nottingham.
