Emerson Process acquires Tescom

Emerson Process Management has announced the acquisition of Tescom Corp. Tescom is a manufacturer of precision pressure control regulators, valves, and systems with manufacturing operations in Elk River, Minnesota and Selmsdorf, Germany.

Flowserve Flow Control (UK) has introduced a new tamper-proof, lockable valve wrench which ensures that the valve can only be operated by authorised users.

HART concentrator system

The new HCS HART Concentrator system from Moore Industries permits up to 16 smart HART-capable transmitters and valves to interface directly with Modbus-based monitoring and control systems.

New dispense valve

The new Sealant Equipment and Engineering model 2200-806 high volume heated tip-seal material dispense valve is designed to deliver low to high viscosity heated materials at a high flow rate.

Position sensors for steam turbines

Macro Sensors (USA), has been named a GE SQE- (Supplier Quality Engineering) approved vendor for LVRT (Linear Variable Reluctance Transformer) position sensors used on General Electric’s steam turbines.

Norway: modules and platform modifications

Hydro (Norway) has awarded Vetco Aibel (Norway) AS a contract for construction of two modules and platform modifications on the Njord A platform in the Norwegian Sea.
