Wood Group wins PetroRio contract in Brazil

Wood Group has been awarded a new contract by PetroRio to deliver services to the Polvo A platform, in the southern Campos basin, approximately 100 kilometres off the coast of Rio de Janeiro. Integrated operations and maintenance services will be provided by Wood Group PSN under the two year contract.

HOERBIGER acquires Newson Gale

HOERBIGER Group, headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, acquired Newson Gale, Nottingham, United Kingdom. The majority of shares this privately owned business has been held by the founder Ernest Kochmann and his family, while a minority of shares has been owned by its CEO, Graham Tyers.

APOS Survey installation for Bibby Offshore

Kongsberg Maritime Ltd, the UK division of Kongsberg Maritime has completed the first ever APOS Survey installation on Bibby Offshore's long term charter vessel, the Olympic Bibby. The new APOS Survey operator station enables surveyors to leverage the power of Kongsberg Maritime's HiPAP High Precision Acoustic Positioning system, to deliver accurate survey results simultaneously, whilst the HIPAP is still utilised as a DP position reference.

IKM bags Johan Castberg Subsea contract

Statoil has awarded the contract for Johan Castberg Subsea – Integration Pre-FEED and FEED Project with Options to IKM Ocean Design.

The contract includes Pre-FEED and FEED of pipelines, risers, cables, tie-ins and related structures on the Johan Castberg field.

Turbosmart’s introduces Pro-Gate50 Lite

AWE approves first stage Waitsia project

AWE Limited has declared that the AWE-operated L1/L2 joint venture has made the Final Investment Decision (FID) for Stage 1A of the Waitsia gas field development project, located in the onshore Perth Basin, Western Australia.

WTP awards USD 111M in subcontracts

The Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) project awarded more than USD 111M in subcontracts to businesses based in Washington and Oregon and, of that, nearly USD 90M to those in Washington’s Tri-Cities of Pasco, Kennewick, and Richland, home to the project’s main offices.
