Eni Norge signed a three-year frame agreement with mechanical engineering group EnerMech to provide lifting and inspection services on the Goliat FPSO project.

In addition to general lifting and inspection services, the mechanical engineering group will also provide loose lifting equipment, lifting equipment, competency inspection, cargo transport equipment, elevators and personnel lifting equipment.

Subsea 7 buys 8 Forum Energy Technologies’ ROVs

Forum Energy Technologies received an order from Subsea 7 to supply eight work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) systems. The ROVs will be delivered through late 2014 and 2015.

The order comprises two Perry XLX Evo 200HP ROVs for Subsea 7’s new-build Heavy Construction Vessel (HCV) and six Perry XLX-C 150HP ROVs for three new-build Pipe-lay Support Vessels (PSVs) for the Brazilian market.
