Metso’s Neles capping valves for Nymölla mill

Stora Enso Fine Paper's Nymölla mill in Sweden selected Metso as the supplier of new capping valves for its batch digester line 1. Metso will deliver five Neles PZ-series capping valves equipped with pneumatic actuators to replace the mill's old hydraulic cappers as well as control centres and Neles SwitchGuard intelligent on/off valve controllers.

WGPSN secures contract extension with Shell

Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) secured a two year contract extension from Shell UK to deliver integrated services to two gas plants in Scotland – the St. Fergus Gas Terminal and Fife Natural Gas Liquids Plant (which includes the Braefoot Bay Marine Terminal).

Festo launches new position transmitter

Festo launched a new range of pneumatic cylinder position transmitters, the programmable SDAT-MHS. Economic and easy to set up, the pneumatic-cylinder-mounted sensors give accurate position feedback over stroke lengths up to 160 mm, enabling engineers and machine builders to gain position feedback and conduct simple object measurement or identification.

NES Global Talent plans expansion in Europe

NES Global Talent revealed its European expansion plans after signing an agreement enabling the company to recruit staff for Norwegian oil company Statoil.  The five-year framework agreement enables NES Global Talent to fill global contract subsurface roles for Statoil, with the majority of roles based onshore in Norway and offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
