ATEX-certified double lock-up valve from Sitecna

Sitecna Srl, the Italian manufacturer of pneumatic instrumentation for hazardous and corrosive environments, has released details of the brand new double lock up valve based on the existing LK04 single lockup design.

Petrofac awarded second phase of Iraq project

Petrofac, the international oilfield service provider, has announced a contract extension from South Oil Company (SOC) for its Iraq Crude Oil Expansion Project. The 12-month extension, worth around USD 99M, includes the second phase of the project and will see the company provide an additional scope of operations and maintenance services.

SIPOS awarded repeat order for Silopi

After receiving the order to supply electric actuators to the first Silopi power plant unit in Turkey, SIPOS Aktorik has been awarded the actuation contract for the second phase of the scheme. Three further units, which are predicted to generate 135 MW of thermal power, are being planned.

NES Global Talent plans expansion in Europe

NES Global Talent revealed its European expansion plans after signing an agreement enabling the company to recruit staff for Norwegian oil company Statoil.  The five-year framework agreement enables NES Global Talent to fill global contract subsurface roles for Statoil, with the majority of roles based onshore in Norway and offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
