FEED for ZADCO’s UAE project

Rotork announced the acquisition of the GTA Group, comprising of GT Attuatori, GT Attuatori Europe and Max Process.  GT Attuatori was established in 1963 and is a leading manufacturer of rack and pinion pneumatic valve actuators.

KLINGER develops U.S. presence

The KLINGER Group headquartered in Austria announces the formation of Klinger Advantage as an extension of the group's industrial fluid control presence in the United States. Based in Baton Rouge, LA with locations in Houston, TX and Sidney, OH, the specialty valve company is a result of KLINGER’s acquisition of Advantage Technical Services (ATS), also of Baton Rouge, LA.

AMEC wins contract for nuclear project

AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, has been awarded a contract by the Nuclear Energy Company of Slovakia (JESS), for a major environmental impact assessment for a new 1000MW nuclear power station at the Bohunice site in Slovakia.

Wood Group GTS awarded rotor overhaul contract

Wood Group GTS has been awarded a USD 3M contract to provide the rotor overhaul and new parts for a Frame 9E gas turbine at a power plant in Uruguay.  Over a five-month term, Wood Group GTS will provide a full set of first-, second- and third-stage buckets for the gas turbine rotor, as well as any necessary compressor blades.

New precision ball screw product line from Nook

Nook Industries added the PMBS Precision Metric Ball Screw product line to its offering of precision ball screw products.  This product is a cost-effective, high-precision actuation solution that can be used in wide spectrum of applications, from automotive, aerospace and medical applications, to machine and tool-making.

Bifold provides subsea directional control valves

Bifold have successfully designed and manufactured subsea valves maintaining safety factors and reliable operation across the pressure range to over 15,000 psi / 1035 bar with an operating temperature range of -50°C to +140°C.

Maersk Drilling orders new ultra-harsh jack-up

Maersk Drilling has ordered a new ultra-harsh environment jack-up rig, XL Enhanced 4, to be built at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in South Korea. The rig is scheduled for delivery in mid-2016.
