Ambitious Vaal Pump and Valve Company Supports Loc

Vaal Triangle engineering company Enserve launched its new factory facility in Sasolburg this May. The newly constructed workshop now combines the pump reconditioning, valve reconditioning and valve manufacturing divisions, which were—until recently—spread across the Vaal Triangle, into one super facility under one roof.

Mongolian oil company buys into North Korean refin

Mongolian oil trading and processing company, HBOil, has bought a 20% stake in North Korea's Sungri refinery. HBOil said that it plans to supply crude oil to the state-owned Sungri refinery for processing and then re-import the products to Mongolia.

SIPOS supplies Mecca DC development

SIPOS Aktorik will supply electric actuators to Jabal Omar development for a district-cooling scheme. The major residential and commercial centre located close to the Grand Holy masjid in Makkah (Mecca) will accommodate 40,000 people.

Emerson bags USD 67M valve technologies contracts

newsitemEmerson Process Management, a business of Emerson, has been awarded contracts valued at USD 67M by Chevron Australia to provide control valves and valve actuators to ensure the efficient and safe flow of natural gas at the Gorgon Project, one of the largest natural gas projects in the world. Majority of the control and shutdown valves for the project will be provided by Emerson Process Management.
