Agreement covers pipeline activities

T.D. Williamson (TDW), a world leader in pipeline services and equipment, announced that it has signed a global pipeline intervention and isolation services contract with BP. Activities covered by the agreement include hot tapping and STOPPLE® plugging, as well as SmartPlug® pressure isolation.

AUMA is single source for Arab oil initiative

 AUMA was selected as the single source supplier of electric actuators for Qatar Petroleum de-gassing stations. Located at the Dukhan field in the Arab D block, work began in 1998 on a gas recycling initiative to enhance oil production: within two years, AUMA’s field devices for valve control were successfully installed as part of a retrofit and replacement programme.

Oliver Valves wins prestigious Manchester award

newsitemOliver Valves, the Knutsford-based manufacturer of oil and gas valves for the global energy industry has scooped the GBP 50-100 million turnover category at the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards. It is the second time the business has been victorious at the awards in just three years, having won in the GBP 25-50 million bracket in 2010. This year has been a year of awards success and recognition, with Oliver Valvetek – one of the three businesses in the Oliver family – winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise and chairman Michael Oliver being awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list.
