Subsea 7 awarded contract offshore Canada Subsea 7 S.A. has won a SURF contract valued at approximately USD 100 million from Suncor Energy on the Terra Nova Field, situated 350km south east of St John’s, Newfoundland, offshore Canada.

Hurricane has a 100% holding in the field and has a CPR (competent person’s report) indicating 2C Contingent Resources of over 200mmbbl of recoverable oil.
