New olefins process tech

KBR has been awarded a License and Process Design Package contract for a new olefins production unit using the Advanced Catalytic Olefins (ACO) technology. This award represents the first license using this innovative technology which catalytically cracks naphtha and other straight run feeds to produce olefins yields which surpass those available from traditional steam cracking technology.

Multiple offshore contracts

Saipem has been awarded by South Oil Co. the EPIC contract for the Iraq Crude Oil Export Expansion Project – Phase 2, within the framework of the expansion of the Basra Oil Terminal, off the Al Faw Peninsula in the Arabian Gulf, approximately 550km south-east of Baghdad.
