B and R’s XV new connection system allows users to integrate pneumatic valves from most well-known manufacturers directly into the same control system. Up to 24 digital outputs – for up to 24 valves – are located in a compact D-sub housing. The newly developed XV connection concept makes it possible to add valve manifolds from Buerkart, Festo, Bosch Rexroth, Norgren, SMC and many other manufacturers to an already networked environment without any problems and with minimal configuration effort. The connection is made directly using a 25-pin connector.
