Deepwater subsea gate valve

Oliver Valvetek is “launching” a 10,000ft deepwater hydraulically actuated gate valve. Designed to operate under the most arduous applications including chemical and primary tree applications, this valve has several design advantages and features including capability of operation hydraulically at 10,000ft water depth, design working pressure of 15,000 PSI, actuation by either 3000 or 5000 PSI control systems, an ROV override facility that does not compress the actuator spring, clearly visible position indication (open/closed) during both hydraulic and override operations and maximum operating torque 100 ft-lbf with torque to damage 500 ft-lbf. Other advantages include metal to metal sealing on body to bonnet, gate to seat and seat to body and back seating facility as standard. As standard, the spring return is set to fail closed. A fail open option is available. The valves are designed to API 6A & API 6D standards.
