Emission-free ball valve

Econosto will be displaying a series of emission-reducing ball valves at the Valve World 2002 Exhibition (Maastricht, The Netherlands, 12–14 November 2002, stand 17). All of the various types of connections used in industrial processes – flanges, instrument connections, valves and pump shafts – leak VOCs (volatile organic compounds) to the outside air. These fugitive, low-level emissions are difficult to measure with conventional instruments. Even so, there are benefits associated with tracing and reducing fugitive emissions. Econosto’s product range includes various products to reduce emissions, such as tank seals, internal floating roofs, aluminium domes, innovative flange couplings, valves with bellows seals and low emission seals. Econosto will be displaying a large number of these emission-reducing products at Valve World 2002 (12–14 November), stand no. 217.
