Festo will be launching new training initiatives and new product lines to help machine builders compete successfully in today’s global marketplace at Total Processing & Packaging 2007 (15-18 May 2007) in the UK. For example, the company is unveiling a new series of electrical piston-rod cylinders, which provide high accuracy programmable positioning capabilities and are mechanically 100% compatible with Festo’s DNC pneumatic cylinders. Festo will also be showing the latest additions to its range of electric drives – including two new intelligent DC servomotors featuring fieldbus interfaces for Profibus and CANopen – together with a new series of highly flexible CPX valves and I/O options.
