Asahi/America Inc., the thermoplastics specialist, providing customised solutions for fluid handling systems, has introduced the Type-14 Flanged Diaphragm Valves. The Type-14 Flanged Diaphragm Valves feature improved body-to-bonnet sealing performance, visual position indication, weir design for excellent throttling capabilities and built-in travel stop to prevent over-tightening and eliminate compressive strain. Bubble-tight sealing can be achieved even in tough applications containing suspended particles or slurries.
They were developed using the latest Computer Aided Software (CAE Analysis) in order to eliminate design problems. Type-14 Flanged Diaphragm Valves feature a bayonet structure to connect diaphragm and compressor, allowing for quick sure exchanges as well as integrally moulded bottom stand for simple and firm panel mounting. Asahi’s Type-14 Flanged Diaphragm Valves are available in sizes ½” – 4” in a variety of thermoplastic and elastomeric materials.
