In one of Australia’s largest coal power plants, Flowrox High Performance Pinch Valves were selected for a high density slurry pumping system. The valves are installed in high pressure discharge lines, in crossover pipelines. High pressure (40 bar) and mixed ash coarse slurry sets extreme requirements for slurry valves, which Flowrox valves have managed to fulfill. A 100% tightness of the closed pinch valve allows high pressure pump maintenance, while the other pump keeps the process running.
