Founded initially in 1866 by William Heap as a partnership, the firm transitioned to its current status as a limited company in the 1920s. William Heap, renowned for his role as Chief Bridge Builder to Thomas Brassey, a prominent Victorian civil engineer, established Heap & Partners in Merseyside. This move marked the company’s inception as a global engineering supply entity.
Presently, Heap & Partners operates from four strategically positioned offices across the United Kingdom, located in Birkenhead, London, Teesside, and Derry.
