James Walker Releases Advanced Valve Stem Emissions Product

Sealing specialist James Walker has introduced the Supagraf 100FXI CS, a new valve stem fugitive emissions product designed to meet stringent future standards. This packing combination set exceeds current emissions standards, ensuring compliance for years to come.

The Supagraf 100FXI CS has been tested and qualified to the latest API 622, 3rd edition including Annex-C (HT) 2022 by Yarmouth Research and Technology, achieving ultra-low emissions levels of 10-12 ppm over 1510 cycles without torque loss or adjustment. It is also certified Fire Safe to API 607, 8th edition, and meets API 624, 2nd edition, API 642, 2nd edition, and ISO 15848 standards up to 400°C.

Rajib Roy, product manager at James Walker, highlighted the product’s compliance with future emissions regulations, noting its low friction design reduces valve stem wear and actuation force requirements, saving space, weight, and cost.

James Walker’s technical services can assist valve manufacturers in achieving emissions performance to the latest standards on the first attempt, ensuring timely project delivery and avoiding costly requalification.
