These valves, made of lightweight polyoxymethylene (POM), are ideal for applications where minimum overall weight is required because plant personnel must lift bins or seed containers. Main benefits of the valves are its light weight; they fit Buck plastic seed containers or plastic bins for the lightest possible overall weight; allow maximum capacity within employee lifting weight limits. Some of the main features of the new POM passive Buck valves are: the are made of FDA-approved materials; sanitary in design and construction; can be CIP or SIP; resistant properties similar to 316L stainless steel; easily docked to Buck active valves; light, yet very durable.
