LNG and Power: new challenges for Indra

Indra, with over thirty years of experience in ball piping valves and for needle instrumentation in various configurations, has indicated it will diversify and adapt its production for sectors not previously supplied. The company is referring to LNG and power generation in which some key customers, recognizing the high standards of reliability and safety of the products, have relied on Indra in the design, construction, and supply of valves in these sectors.
In particular for cryogenic valves for important LNG projects, the most relevant and representative supplied up to now are: Yamal LNG Project (2012) and Arctic LNG Project (2019); and power, where Indra has taken on an important role in projects such as Stef (Sener EPC) and LNG Coastal Depot Ravenna (EPC Edison).
The quality and reliability of the products manufactured have kept active the request for support from Indra for the construction of new cryogenic valves designed for applications in these specific sectors.
Thanks to recurring opportunities, Indra is constantly working to consolidate its position in these markets, hence the need for specific development actions and strategies also aimed at obtaining qualifications from end-users, as already happened with the Russian company “Novatek” for the LNG sector.
With this in mind, Indra has chosen to participate in some key events in these sectors, such as Enlit / Europe (event postponed to 2021 in Milan) and for the Power Generation LNG 2022 scheduled in Saint Petersburg, for the LNG sector.
