On November 16-17, several team members from the Valve and Hydrant Group represented McWane at the 2017 Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF) College Industry Conference in Chicago. Illinois.
The FEF provides resources to certified metal casting programs in order to strengthen the metal casting industry by supporting partnerships among students, educators and industry. McWane was a presenting partner and sponsor at this year’s conference. The FEF Conference serves as an educational and networking platform, covering all news and information in the metal casting industry.
Every year they recognize students interested in the metal casting field through industry sponsors and scholarships. John Grahek, who serves on FEF’S National and Executive Board, presented the McWane Sponsored Scholarship.
