Badger Meter, represented in the UK by Pump Engineering, now offers a complete line of metal control valves in sizes from 0.25 up to 2in with materials of construction including stainless steel, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, Alloy 20, titanium, tantalum and other exotic materials for corrosive applications. These valves feature replaceable trim sets in the same material as the valve, or if required alternative materials such as Stellite or soft seats and special coatings such as titanium nitride. Stem packing options include standard chevron rings or the REK environmental packing system, with purge ports for leak prevention or detection and reversed rings for vacuum applications. Badger Meter control valves come with a vacuum of up to 410bar and are suitable for temperatures from -450 to 1500F.
