Honeywell has added the TM300 to its range of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), which prevents scalding water being delivered from taps and showers. The TM300 is certified by BuildCert to the TMV2 specification and also by WRAS for use with potable water. It is one of very few TMV2 valves certified for use with the full range of bathroom appliances: showers, washbasins, bidets and bathtubs. The TM300 is scale-resistant and designed for “under-bath” installation on both high- and low-pressure systems, such as in private and housing association dwellings, hotels, schools and nursery schools. The Honeywell TM200VP continues to be available for installations requiring a higher certified valve (TMV3), such as in hospitals, NHS and private nursing homes, and schools for the severely disabled. Internal parts are scale-resistant, manufactured from high-temperature plastic and stainless steel.
