Modular designs for new GF valves

GF Piping Systems’ type 567/568 valves feature a modular design that facilitates/accelerates exchange of individual system components. Intended for wafer and lug style applications, the 14in to 24in butterfly valves have a double eccentric operating principle which minimizes required actuation torque, and all components in contact with media are made of piping materials to minimize permeation. As such, they are suitable for water treatment, power plants, shipbuilding, chemical process, even electroplating applications and in aquariums. Along with electric position indicator, features include a hand lever made of glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PP-GF 30) with 5° ratchet setting. They have a 50% lower actuation torque compared to a centric butterfly due to the double eccentric operating principle and abrasion can be reduced noticeably. With an integrated electric position indicator in the mounting flange and optimized gaskets, they are available in a manual version with hand lever or reduction gear or they can be pneumatically or electrically actuated.
