MSS revised standard for flanges & flanged fittings

The Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS) of the Valve and Fittings Industry announces that SP-106-2019, Cast Copper Alloy Flanges and Flanged Fittings: Class 125, 150, and 300 has been revised and published by MSS.

Standard Practice (SP)-106 has served as an industry norm for over 29 years; covering requirements for cast copper alloy flanges and flanged fittings having dimensions, ratings, and materials not included in the ASME B16.24 standard. Specifically, this Standard Practice includes solder joint flanges for rating Class 125 and Class 150, threaded flanges and blind flanges for rating Class 150 and Class 300, and flanged fittings for rating Class 150. SP-106 continues to be maintained under the consensus of MSS Technical Committee 201, Non-Ferrous Fittings and Flanges.

The revised Standard Practice, MSS SP-106-2019, is now available from authorized U.S. and global distributors.
