Bell & Gossett recently introduced a new 3DV Triple Duty Valve that performs all of the functions of three valves that are normally required to balance systems for smaller pump applications. Available in sizes 1 in through 2 in, and with CV ratings from 9 to 28, the new valve saves money in material costs and minimizes installation by incorporating three valves in one: a calibrated balance valve, a spring loaded check valve and a shut-off valve. The Triple Duty Valve also gives a choice of MNPT threaded or rotatable flange inlet connection which allows close mounting of the valve to the pump discharge or downstream from the pump. The valve is constructed of durable materials that resist harsh operating pressures and high temperatures and is available in a standard straight pattern flange design.
