NEWAY VALVE (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. has signed a supply contract with AREVA on the UK’s Hinckley Point C project.
The HPC project is co-invested by EDF and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co.,Ltd., of which CNPE accounts for the ownership of 33.5% with EDF owning the rest. The project includes building 2 nuclear power units adopted by ERP technique. The total installed capacity is 3.2GW.
AREVA will undertake comprehensive construction of the HPC project. Most of the contracted products are nuclear valves – over 2000 units.
This signing not only makes a great difference in expanding the overseas nuclear market, but also highlights the tremendous strength in the field of nuclear valves for Neway.
