POYAM, the Spanish manufacturer of special valves, has recently achieved the
EC certification to design and manufacture gate, globe, check, ball
split-body, ball top-entry, cryogenic, non-lubricated wedge plug, pressure
seal and slurry angle valves in accordance with the Pressure Equipment
Directive 97/23/CE. The company, which has been in the business of
manufacturing valves for over 30 years, believes it is one of the first
valve companies in Spain to have achieved this certification. The Notified
Body has been LLoyd´s Register same who awarded Poyam with ISO 9001 and LR
Type Approval Certificate in the past.
