SIPOS Aktorik returns to Power-Gen Europe to showcase its electric actuator range and comprehensive support provided globally for power sector valve control.
Putting the spotlight on service, the company’s offer ensures all power industry actuation requirements are catered for, from initial consultation through to installation, maintenance and revisions. Other services include overhauls and retrofits.
A prestigious contract with RWE Eemshaven in the Netherlands is testimony to SIPOS’ commissioning, integration and support services. Over 2,000 electric actuators were supplied, which play a key role automating valves at the coal fired power plant.
Commissioning capabilities have also been confirmed with a contract for over 50 SIPOS actuators at the Freimann combined heat and power plant in Germany, which provides electricity to the power grid of SWM, Munich’s public utility company. Supporting an automation upgrade, the actuators feature a PROFIBUS DP interface for high speed data communications.
