Lasso Technik’s patented Stop-silent check valve series is now available to the US market. The valve features a unique cone design assuring tight shut-off to prevent backflow of liquid or gaseous media. The valve is designed to eliminate water hammer and related noise and wear problems. The corrosion-resistant valve features a temperature range of -20C up to +180C and operating pressure to 232psi. It can handle fluids up to 10ft per second and gases up to 50ft per second and is suitable for use in water, oil, acids and brines. Standard cones and valve sizes are available from 1in-8in with multi-cone valves in sizes from 6in-24in. The series comes in several configurations to meet a variety of mounting requirements, allowing for easy installation into fittings, standard unions, or between flanges.
