Sun Hydraulics’ releases new FLeX Series

Sun Hydraulics released a new FLeX Series 3-way, solenoid-operated directional blocking poppet valve with two poppet configurations designed to mitigate leaking as much as possible. It has a low leakage rate of less than one drop per minute (0.004 in3 (0,07 cc)/min (1 drop/min)) – making it more than suitable for load-holding circuits to safely lock a load in place. The DWBF valve is an expansion of the FLeX Series direction valves and offers two low-leakage poppet configurations:
DWBF-XAN is normally open 1-to-2, closed 2-to-3 and DWBF-XNN is normally open 2-to-3, closed 1-to-2.
Like the other valves in the FLeX family, these new directional valves offer the same longevity, quality, and competitive price point: Thoughtfully designed to last 10 million cycles, it can be trusted to perform in the most demanding of applications. Zinc-nickel plating standard for 1000-hour salt fog protection. Uses the 740 Series high-power and 747 Series hazardous location coils in a range of coil terminations and voltage options.
The FLeX Series includes the DTAF and DTBF: 2-way, direct-acting, directional blocking poppet valves. Like the DWBF, they provide extremely low leakage and are well-suited to load-holding applications. All FLeX Series valves, including the new DWBF valve, utilize floating-style construction to minimize the occurrence of internal parts binding due to over-torquing and other cartridge machining variations.
The FLeX Series family is compatible with the 740 Series high-power coils and the 747 Series hazardous location coils. With over 40 solenoid-operated valves, the FLeX Series delivers proportional, directional, and relief valves that are both highly reliable and able to suit a wide range of applications.
