Swagelok Company has completed its acquisition of Jensen Fittings Corporation (North Tonawanda, New York, USA). Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.The acquisition will allow Swagelok to expand its offering of fluid system components to the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, and dairy industries. The high-quality sanitary fittings made by Jensen complement Swagelok’s product line, which includes sanitary valves and fittings, hoses, plug and ball valves, and orbital welding equipment. Jensen Fittings will offer its products through Swagelok’s global network of sales and service centres. Employment and operations at the Jensen Fittings plant will not be affected by the acquisition.
