Sterling Hydraulics’ new C4 range of solenoid valve coils aim to offer enhanced corrosion resistance, leading to increased life in demanding applications, reduced weight and a wider range of connector options. They are fully interchangeable with the existing CC range of coils used on Sterling Hydraulics valves. They are initially available for 12 and 24V DC operation, and can be supplied in standard or high-power versions, to ensure compatibility with the widest possible range of valves. All types feature waterproof construction, which eliminates the need for O-rings, and an external steel flux-carrying band which makes it possible for the coil to withstand extreme thermal shock without damage to its encapsulation.
