MSA, a regular supplier of ball valves to Czech and Slovak transgas companies, has signed a contract for the supply of 63 pieces main line ball valves (34–46″/class 300,600 & 900#) for the Turkish section of the Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan Crude Oil Pipeline Project. The pipeline is being developed to transfer 50 million tonnes of crude oil per year from the countries in the Caspian Basin through a pipeline over Georgia to Ceyhan Marine terminal and from there to the world markets with tankers. The pipeline is anticipated to starts operations in 2004.
